The term “webinar” is a portmanteau of web and seminar, meaning a presentation, lecture, or workshop that is transmitted over the web.†
Webinars are a fantastic tool for education and training. They remove the hassle, time and expense often associated with training, particularly if it’s a case of refreshing product knowledge or learning about the latest enhancements, as this may not require a one-to-one session in person. Volume webinars have the benefit of being online, interactive and free, allowing for discussions in real-time with live question and answer sessions.
