Watermark achieves ISO 27001 accreditation for Information Security Management
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve achieved the ISO 27001 accreditation, in acknowledgement of our secure and effective information security management systems.
ISO 27001 is an Information Security Management System standard published in 2005 by the Information Standards Organisation and an endorsement of good standard practice.
According to ISO 27001 documentation, it was developed to “provide a model for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.”
Working in partnership with CQS Limited, we achieved this prestigious accolade, which demonstrates we have processes in place for the continual monitoring and protection of data stored and maintained within our software. By meeting the requirements of this standard, our clients can be satisfied in the knowledge that we operate a Management System that will endeavour to secure information provided by them and managed by us.
ISO 27001 assures a continual improvement programme is in use; making sure risks, vulnerabilities and threats throughout the business are visible and never missed. At Watermark Technologies, we take our security very seriously – this accreditation helps give our clients peace of mind that we are ensuring their data is secure.
We will hold the accreditation for three years, with annual external audits being completed for assessment and recertification, ensuring our strict adherence to rigorous security standards.
