Microsoft Office Integration
KB034 Guide to integrate Microsoft Office Add-ins if the Volume tool bar is not showing/working
Volume Integration toolbar is not shown or not working. The Microsoft Office Integration is an Add-in to Microsoft Office 2000 upwards (32bit and 64bit).
Depending on which version of Microsoft Office is installed the add-in will be shown either as a ribbon entry or as a toolbar.
The Integration add-in is only available for Outlook, Word and Excel.
If the add-in fails to appear or work correctly check there are two options:
The first option is as below:

Close all MS Office applications. Check in Windows’ Task Manager that Word, Excel and Outlook are closed and not running. If in doubt reboot the PC. Close Volume.

Using file expolorer navigate to the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WatermarkTech\volumeFINANCE

In this folder there is a batch file named ‘Register OI (Run as Admin)’.
Right click on this and select ‘Run as Administrator’

A cmd window will pop-up and the following information box to confirm success:

Click ‘OK’.
The second option is:

Close all MS Office applications. Check in Windows’ Task Manager that Word, Excel and Outlook are closed and not running. If in doubt reboot the PC.

Launch a command prompt (cmd.exe) as Administrator. In Windows search for ‘cmd’ without the quotes, right click on it and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

In the (black) command window type: regsvr32 “c:\program files\watermarktech\volumefinance\OI_volume.dll”
or for 64bit Windows: regsvr32 “c:\program files (x86)\watermarktech\volumefinance\OI_volume.dll”

Windows should report a successful installation.
Open Outlook to check if the add-in appears correctly.
If the add-in still fails to appear or work:

In Outlook go to Tools, Trust Centre and click on Add-ins. This option may differ depending on which version of MS Office is installed. Set the ‘Manage’ drop down at the bottom of the screen to ‘COM add-ins’ and click go.

Highlight the ‘CoOI_volume’ add-in and click Remove. Then, click Add and select the add-in from: c:\program files\watermarktech\volumefinance\OI_volume.dll
