- Om Samaj Hospital is a 55 bedded general hospital, it is in the process of being updated to a 100 bedded hospital. The hospital was founded in 2064 B.S by Om Samaj Shaikshik Pratisthan. Om Samaj Shaikshik Pratisthan has been registered as a private company with the Registrar of Companies in Shrawan 2064. It was established with the joint effort of health professionals and social workers with the objective to make affordable and quality health care available to the ordinary people, and also to provide quality education and guidance to the aspirants of becoming Health Professionals.
- Recently in 2068 B.S with the aim of making the hospital more socially responsible and cater for the needy sections of the society the management responsibility of the hospital was handed over to Om Samaj Hospital Foundation, a non-profit organization. The company plans to run the hospital as a non-profit organization.
- Area in which the organization is operative: Located at Dhunga Adda, Thinthana VDC of Kathmandu, hospital especially covers for patients from 10 VDC’s of Kathmandu (Tinthana, New Naikap, Old Naikap, Satungal, Balambu, Machhchhegaun, Gurjudhara, Thankot, Matatirtha, Mahadevsthan) and parts of Dhading, Nuwakot and Makwanpur district.
